The tax credits for geothermal installations have changed.
The $2000 limit on residential installations has been lifted.
Through 2016 the federal tax credit is now 30% of the installation cost with no limit.
The equipment installed must meet the energy star and other requirements.
The installation of a commercial geothermal system allows for a 10% tax credit with no limitation on amount.
